Company:

At Arrive AI (Nasdaq: ARAI), we're not just building products—we're transforming the future of the Autonomous Last Mile™ (ALM). Over a decade ago, we started with a pioneering vision and patents for the first smart mailbox for drone delivery. Through systematic research, development, and deep customer collaboration, we've evolved to today where we deploy Arrive Points—smart lockers and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery, from medical supplies to meals to e-commerce. Arrive AI is now moving forward to scaling the ALM network and platform of the future for all autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers. We are the intelligent choice for the last inch of the Autonomous Last Mile™.

About Us:

We move fast, balancing strategy with opportunity. We are merit-based, valuing integrity, innovation, and treating others as we want to be treated. At Arrive AI, every employee is an equity holder and a business owner. Our shared vision, ownership, and culture fuel our mission to revolutionize autonomous delivery.

Product Team

You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s Product Team to revolutionize Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by transforming over a decade of research, design, and customer collaboration into the world’s first autonomous logistics network and platform. Our fast-paced skunkworks team rapidly iterates, prototypes, and develops next-generation Arrive Point units, networks, and AI-powered platforms. By integrating cutting-edge hardware, robotics, IoT, software, data, AI, and manufacturing, we’re driving a bold roadmap for ALM innovation. Based in Fishers, IN, we offer a unique opportunity to do your life’s best work, shape the future, and share in the success.

 The Role:

We’re seeking a Robotics Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of robotic mechanisms and control systems for Arrive Points. You’ll help engineer the moving, sensing, and actuating components that make automated delivery, access, and handoff possible — while learning to integrate these systems with AI, IoT, and software platforms.

This role is hands-on and digitally driven: you’ll work in CAD and simulation tools to model and analyze robotic systems, then help bring them to life through prototyping and testing

 What You’ll Do:

  • Design Digitally First: Contribute to CAD models, assemblies, and simulations for robotic components and mechanisms.
  • Assist in Robotics Design: Support development of actuator-driven systems, linkages, and motion control features
  • Prototype & Test: Help build and test robotic subsystems, providing data and feedback for iteration.
  • Support Integration: Assist in connecting robotics hardware with AI-driven controls, sensors, and IoT modules
  • Run Simulations: Use motion and control simulations to verify designs and tune robotic performance before physical builds.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to ensure robotics designs fit the broader product architecture.
  • Stay Curious: Research new robotics technologies and automation techniques, bringing ideas back to the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Robotics Experience: 2+ years in robotics engineering or strong internship/co-op work in automation, mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Digital Prototyping Skills: Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and familiarity with robotics simulation tools (kinematics, motion planning, or control modeling).
  • Actuator & Sensor Exposure: Knowledge of actuators, servos, and sensor integration for robotic systems is a strong plus.
  • Additional Pluses: Exposure to multi-zonal control concepts, battery systems, or power management in robotic products.
  • AI & Robotics Awareness: Interest in AI-driven robotics (e.g., motion control, sensor fusion, adaptive automation).
  • Collaboration: Effective communicator, able to work with cross-functional engineering teams
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, iterative, startup environment where designs evolve quickly.

 Additional:

  • Expect to travel up to 5 days per month.
  • Responsibilities include all other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • Salary is market competitive with high equity incentive – be an owner and grow with Arrive AI.
