Company:

At Arrive AI (Nasdaq: ARAI), we're not just building products—we're transforming the future of the Autonomous Last Mile™ (ALM). Over a decade ago, we started with a pioneering vision and patents for the first smart mailbox for drone delivery. Through systematic research, development, and deep customer collaboration, we've evolved to today where we deploy Arrive Points—a type of smart locker and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery and pickup, utilized from medical supplies to meals to e-commerce. Arrive AI is now growing and investing to scale an ALM network and platform of the future for all autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers. Arrive AI is the intelligent choice for the last inch of the Autonomous Last Mile™.

About Us:

We move fast, balancing strategy with opportunity. We are merit-based, valuing integrity, innovation, and treating others as we want to be treated. At Arrive AI, every employee is an equity holder and a business owner. Our shared vision, ownership, and culture fuel our mission to revolutionize autonomous delivery.

Product Team

You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s Product Team to revolutionize Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by transforming over a decade of research, design, and customer collaboration into the world’s first autonomous logistics network and platform. Our fast-paced skunkworks team rapidly iterates, prototypes, and develops next-generation Arrive Point units, networks, and AI-powered platforms. By integrating cutting-edge hardware, robotics, IoT, software, data, AI, and manufacturing, we’re driving a bold roadmap for ALM innovation. Based in Fishers, IN, we offer a unique opportunity to do your life’s best work, shape the future, and share in the success.

 The Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the architect and integrator for Arrive Points — designing the frameworks that bring hardware, software, robotics, and AI together into a cohesive, reliable product.

This role is for someone who can see the entire system picture, thinking through interfaces, dependencies, and trade-offs across disciplines. You’ll guide how actuators, sensors, controllers, and multi-zonal control architectures come together — ensuring every subsystem aligns and scales as Arrive Points evolve from prototypes to deployed infrastructure.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Architect System Frameworks: Define and document overall system architecture — ensuring hardware, software, and AI layers work in concert and scale reliably.
  • Integrate Components: Coordinate mechanical, electrical, robotics, and embedded systems, unifying actuators, sensors, processors, and controllers into a seamless platform.
  • Prototype & Iterate: Lead system-level prototyping and integration — building and testing how subsystems interact in real-world conditions.
  • Enable Centralized Multi-Zonal Control: Help design and evolve control architectures that can manage multiple zones and subsystems efficiently across the Arrive Point network.
  • Design Digitally First: Use CAD, simulation tools, and digital prototypes to concept, validate, and iterate designs before physical builds — accelerating development and reducing costly revisions.
  • Test & Validate: Drive system-level testing for reliability, performance, and compliance, ensuring designs meet product requirements.
  • Risk Identification & Mitigation: Spot potential system bottlenecks, conflicts, and risks early — and design mitigation strategies.
  • Bridge Disciplines: Act as the technical connective tissue between ME, EE, robotics, software, and AI teams — ensuring no system decision is made in isolation.
  • Future-Proof Designs: Stay ahead of emerging technologies (AI edge processing, robotics control, IoT protocols) to keep system architecture ready for the future.

What We're Looking For:

  • Systems Experience: 5+ years in systems engineering for complex, multi-disciplinary products (hard-tech, robotics, IoT, or automation preferred).
  • Integration Expertise: Deep understanding of hardware-software interfaces, robotics integration, and IoT connectivity
  • Technical Breadth: Familiarity with actuator systems, sensors, power management, and embedded controllers
  • Simulation-Driven Mindset: Experience using digital modeling, CAD, and simulation as core tools for design exploration, optimization, and rapid iteration.
  • Multi-Zonal Control Knowledge: Experience with or strong interest in centralized multi-zonal control architectures is a big plus
  • AI-Integrated Systems: Proven experience or enthusiasm for designing architectures where AI, robotics, and IoT interact to enable intelligent automation.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Comfortable leading conversations with ME, EE, robotics engineers, and software developers — aligning teams on trade-offs and architecture decisions.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong system modeling, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments where iteration and innovation drive progress.

 Additional:

  • Expect to travel up to 5 days per month.
  • Responsibilities include all other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • Salary is market competitive with high equity incentive – be an owner and grow with Arrive AI.
