Company:

At Arrive AI (Nasdaq: ARAI), we're not just building products—we're transforming the future of the Autonomous Last Mile™ (ALM). Over a decade ago, we started with a pioneering vision and patents for the first smart mailbox for drone delivery. Through systematic research, development, and deep customer collaboration, we've evolved to today where we deploy Arrive Points—a type of smart locker and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery and pickup, utilized from medical supplies to meals to e-commerce. Arrive AI is now growing and investing to scale an ALM network and platform of the future for all autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers. Arrive AI is the intelligent choice for the last inch of the Autonomous Last Mile™.

About Us:

We move fast, balancing strategy with opportunity. We are merit-based, valuing integrity, innovation, and treating others as we want to be treated. At Arrive AI, every employee is an equity holder and a business owner. Our shared vision, ownership, and culture fuel our mission to revolutionize autonomous delivery.

Product Team

You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s Product Team to revolutionize Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by transforming over a decade of research, design, and customer collaboration into the world’s first autonomous logistics network and platform. Our fast-paced skunkworks team rapidly iterates, prototypes, and develops next-generation Arrive Point units, networks, and AI-powered platforms. By integrating cutting-edge hardware, robotics, IoT, software, data, AI, and manufacturing, we’re driving a bold roadmap for ALM innovation. Based in Fishers, IN, we offer a unique opportunity to do your life’s best work, shape the future, and share in the success.

 The Role:

We’re seeking a Systems Engineer to support the architecture, integration, and testing of Arrive Points — ensuring hardware, software, robotics, and AI components come together as a cohesive whole. You’ll assist in system modeling, CAD work, and digital simulations, supporting senior systems engineers and contributing to a robust, scalable product framework

This role is perfect for an early-career engineer with broad technical curiosity — someone eager to learn how electrical, mechanical, and software systems interlock while contributing to real-world product builds.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in Systems Architecture: Help define and document system frameworks and interfaces
  • Design Digitally First: Contribute to CAD-based system diagrams, layouts, and simulations to visualize and validate system concepts.
  • Support Integrations: Assist in aligning mechanical, electrical, robotics, and software subsystems into a unified product.
  • Run System Simulations: Use modeling tools to test and predict performance before physical prototypes are built.
  • Aid in Prototyping & Testing: Help assemble, test, and debug system-level builds, logging results and feeding data back to senior engineers.
  • Analyze Risks: Help identify and flag potential conflicts or bottlenecks across subsystems.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work with engineers from multiple backgrounds to keep system-level work aligned and organized

What We’re Looking For:

  • Systems Experience: 2+ years in systems engineering (or internships/co-ops in hard-tech, robotics, or IoT products).
  • Digital Prototyping Skills: Experience with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and familiarity with simulation tools for system modeling (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SysML).
  • Actuator & Sensor Exposure: Awareness of how actuators, sensors, and controllers interact in complex products.
  • Additional Pluses: Familiarity with battery and power management systems or multi-zonal control architectures is valuable.
  • AI Systems Awareness: Interest in how AI-enabled modules (vision, control, predictive analytics) integrate into larger system architectures.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and system-thinking mindset.
  • Team Player: Comfortable collaborating with ME, EE, robotics, and software engineers
  • Adaptability: Excited by fast-paced, digital-first product development with frequent iteration.

 Additional:

  • Expect to travel up to 5 days per month.
  • Responsibilities include all other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • Salary is market competitive with a high equity incentive – be an owner and grow with Arrive AI.
