R&D Solutions Team
You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s R&D Solutions Team to push the boundaries of Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by engineering and configuring innovative hardware platforms that serve the evolving needs of cargo and delivery organizations, healthcare systems, and more. This team turns bold ideas into functional, real-world systems by working across prototyping, testing, and deployment stages. Whether you're collaborating with external partners, building in-house systems, or supporting the field, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the infrastructure of Autonomous Last Mile. Based in Fishers, IN, this is your opportunity to innovate, solve tough problems, and do your life’s best work.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Test and Certification Engineer to lead functional, safety, and compliance testing across our ALM product suite. You'll establish internal test protocols, run real-world validation scenarios, and coordinate with external partners for regulatory certifications like UL and FCC. This role spans the entire customer journey—from web/app interfaces to physical units—and is crucial in ensuring our products are rock-solid in the field.
What You’ll Do:
• Set up and manage internal testing equipment and protocols for hardware and software.
• Evaluate production quality from external manufacturers.
• Conduct hands-on electronic troubleshooting and functional testing.
• Work with outside agencies to secure safety and compliance certifications (UL, FCC, etc.).
• Collaborate with field, supply chain, and product teams to close feedback loops.
• Document and standardize testing procedures and pass/fail criteria.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience in hardware/software testing or certification roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory processes and working with agencies like UL or FCC.
• Hands-on experience in electronics testing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud-based software systems and app/web integration testing.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Bonus: experience in logistics, robotics, or autonomous delivery systems.
