Company:

At Arrive AI (Nasdaq: ARAI), we're not just building products—we're transforming the future of the Autonomous Last Mile™ (ALM). Over a decade ago, we started with a pioneering vision and patents for the first smart mailbox for drone delivery. Through systematic research, development, and deep customer collaboration, we've evolved to today where we deploy Arrive Points—a type of smart locker and mini-cross-docks for frictionless drone, robotic, and courier delivery and pickup, utilized from medical supplies to meals to e-commerce. Arrive AI is now growing and investing to scale an ALM network and platform of the future for all autonomous delivery providers, services, and customers. Arrive AI is the intelligent choice for the last inch of the Autonomous Last Mile™.

About Us:

We move fast, balancing strategy with opportunity. We are merit-based, valuing integrity, innovation, and treating others as we want to be treated. At Arrive AI, every employee is an equity holder and a business owner. Our shared vision, ownership, and culture fuel our mission to revolutionize autonomous delivery.

Product Team

You’ll be joining Arrive AI’s Product Team to revolutionize Autonomous Last Mile (ALM) logistics by transforming over a decade of research, design, and customer collaboration into the world’s first autonomous logistics network and platform. Our fast-paced skunkworks team rapidly iterates, prototypes, and develops next-generation Arrive Point units, networks, and AI-powered platforms. By integrating cutting-edge hardware, robotics, IoT, software, data, AI, and manufacturing, we’re driving a bold roadmap for ALM innovation. Based in Fishers, IN, we offer a unique opportunity to do your life’s best work, shape the future, and share in the success.

 The Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for Arrive Points. This role spans power management, actuator control, sensor integration, and IoT connectivity, creating robust and manufacturable electrical systems that will support AI-enabled logistics devices for years to come.

You’ll work closely with mechanical, robotics, and systems engineers while taking the lead on electrical system architecture decisions—especially around actuators, sensors, and advanced multi-zone control schemes

 What You’ll Do:

  • Design Electrical Circuits: Create schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring architectures for power, actuator control, and sensor networks.
  • Integrate Components: Engineer how actuators, sensors, and controllers fit into larger system architectures for Arrive Points.
  • Design Digitally First: Use CAD, simulation tools, and digital prototypes to concept, validate, and iterate designs before physical builds — accelerating development and reducing costly revisions.
  • Prototype & Test: Build and iterate circuit boards and subsystems, validating performance, safety, and manufacturability.
  • Optimize Power Efficiency: Design battery systems, power control circuits, and energy management solutions for low-power, always-on devices.
  • Support Robotics Interfaces: Ensure Arrive Points’ electrical systems interface seamlessly with robotic systems and control architectures.
  • Troubleshoot & Resolve Issues: Rapidly debug prototyping and production challenges, ensuring reliable field performance.
  • Enable AI-Driven Hardware: Build electrical systems that support AI processors, sensors, and data flows—making devices intelligent, power-efficient, and scalable.

What We're Looking For:

  • Engineering Experience: 5+ years in electrical engineering for product development, ideally in hard-tech, robotics, or IoT-driven systems
  • Technical Expertise: Strong skills in circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad).
  • Digital Prototyping Skills: Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.) and engineering simulation tools (FEA, dynamics, thermal, or control system simulation) to validate designs virtually.
  • Actuator Experience: Proven experience designing, integrating, and controlling actuators in complex systems.
  • Sensor Knowledge: Hands-on experience with sensor selection and integration for smart products.
  • Multi-Zonal Control Systems: Experience with or exposure to centralized, multi-zonal control architecture is a big plus
  • Domain Knowledge: Background in IoT, embedded systems, batteries, and power management; robotics experience is highly desirable.
  • Cross-Functional Comfort: Skilled at collaborating with mechanical, robotics, and systems engineers to align designs and solve integration issues.
  • AI Hardware Mindset: Enthusiastic about designing electrical systems that enable AI-powered products and can evolve with emerging capabilities.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and resourceful, able to debug and optimize in a rapid-iteration startup environment.

 Additional:

  • Expect to travel up to 5 days per month.
  • Responsibilities include all other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

  • Salary is market competitive with high equity incentive – be an owner and grow with Arrive AI.
